No, I want IWYL type music. I meant she can keep LG5 if it's outdated sounding Disco music. She should just stay Dark Pop and maybe 5 Disco songs on LG5 at max. ♥. Wanderlust 96
I want something really gritty, like disco and metal had a baby. I think since pop music has drifted into a more laid back urban sound, it would be a really exciting departure that would shake things up in all the right ways. Her vocal power is incredible and I just want to hear more raw sounds this time around... (The guitar solo at the end of MANiCURE is one of my favorite moments on ARTPOP tbh) As for the look, I think it'd be cool if she turned out untouchable, high fashion looks like AHS but with edgier hair and eyebrows (lol). So she can still retain a little bit of Lady but with a Gaga edge.

Iwontell 7,312
Well, the songs on the OP aren't disco, exactly...they're more of an 80's new wave derivate... I don't think ppl here WANT disco necessarily, but that seems to be the direction she going for (I mean, with the producers she has enlisted)...and working with Mark Ronson points to a funk direction too. Whatever she does, it won't be just a literal re-creation of what was popular in the past, she'll just embrace some elements of it (like a strong bass-line in a song, or string group ornaments in another song, or Nile's electric guitar riffs in the arrangement)...she'll probably mix it with other styles (she seems really interested in 70's singer songwriters, for example), make it a little darker...so ya'll can calm down. I think she'll achieve something very close to Acid Jazz, which is pretty varied within itself...it was very popular in the second half of the 90's and it hasn't made a comeback yet. To visualize LG5, maybe think less Donna Summers and more Jamiroquai... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you. That's literally what IWYL is lol. Disco and 80's revivalism in general has already been huge for over 5 years. If you want more modern sounding examples these are great, but if Gaga does disco she's more likely to ape Random Access Memories.

Blueskye 1,087
I want Donna/Giorgio's disco, Madonna's dance (CoaDF), Kylie's pop, Diana Ross' feel-good, Ronson's funk mixed with RedOnes hooks. Is this too much?
