The thing, now a days is, when you made it in America - you made it in the whole world. Little Mix failed to break into the Top 60 in the US, I mean it's good for their first Single there but they didn't promote their other Singles there which is why 'Get Weird' flopped there. In the old days, people were actually subtle about it, now it's like, if you're so obvious about it, it makes it hilarious or something. Newsflash: it doesn't. But anyway, I actually think the song's improved a bit with Sean Paul. It was dire on its own but at least his verse gives it a little bit of flavour. Who would have thought him of all people would come back all these years later to give pop tunes something that they were missing before? The video is so cringey American, though. They're been trying too hard to make it in America and it's really transparent. To hear British girls say lines like "When you see him in the club..." just doesn't wash when that phrase just doesn't work in our own country with different meanings and connotations, it just makes you feel like they're a different band. I just wish they'd release better singles. I really hope Lightning becomes a single at some point, although there might just be one more if we're lucky and it's way too dark for summertime. But on the plus side, how gorgeous are these girls? One of the best looking girl groups ever. In the beginning, Perrie was really the only good-looking one but now, they've all become such stunners! And they can really sing too. To hear their live sessions, they're the closest we've had to Destiny's Child in a long time as far as harmonising goes.
