Inb4 this is actually what she's planning to do & you've just cracked the (BAR)code :stalkga: therefore, she's delaying LG5 until 2026 :emma:

Personally, it doesn't bother me. But it would be much more expensive for the GP = less copies sold :awkney:

Back to Basics and I Am...Sasha Fierce worked really well, artistically speaking. I'm here for it.

Yeah...looking back at Michael's HIStory album (a.k.a. the best selling two disc album ever :hor:) the money made on it broke even, but barely. Though, volume one was his biggest hits, volume two was new music so that may have had something to do with it.

Well something a bit shorter then. Like 6 tracks on each disc?

She might as well just do one disc then for 12 songs :emma:

I'm totally here for something along the lines of what OP was getting at. Disc 1 would be the newest music, the true LG5, and disc 2 could be tracks from both ARTPOP Vol. 2 and stuff she made in the past two years that didn't make the cut for the official album :sara:

I do love the idea of more music, but if she were to release a double album, the material would need to sustain itself properly, so no fillers. Also, even if the albums consisted of 2 parts, I'd hope that they're both bound together thru similar themes, I guess, in a dualistic sort of manner.

I like how the thread mentioned the idea of different themes for both albums. At this point, I do feel that releasing a double album would overwhelm her audience and discount Gaga's artistry, if everything were to be released all at once. I'd rather let her new material be of a contained number of tracks, to keep her fans and the gp wanting more, gradually. I think, by doing this, she builds more traction solidly, without having too much to give away..

If she were to release a double album, or two different kinds, I think it'd be best to have 2 separate releases, in a somewhat short span of time.

Short answer: I love the idea, but imo, it's still got to be cohesive, promoted well, and gradual. :laughga:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.
