Well, I was trying to let go of this conversation, because you seemed to think we were going over the same point over and over, but...

As someone who went through the same registration process as everyone else in my state, and who walked several miles to vote in the 2012 election because my parents were at work and my car was broken down, I've never had my vote suppressed.  I familiarized myself with the deadlines, place to vote, and other relevant information because it was important to me as a citizen.  

We have low turnout in part because we have a severe lack of civic education in our school system, civic pride in our population, and a lack of candidates in both parties who bother to connect with younger voters through social media on a personal level.  I'm not convinced that same-day voter registration will actually increase voter participation by as significant an amount as you hope, but I'd have to analyze the relevant data before stating a firm opinion.  

If anything, I'd be in favor of a system that automatically registers you to vote when you turn 18, so that you know you have the option to vote in the general election, and then if you want to register with a specific party, you would do that on your own.

Get involved with your state party. My state doesn't have an issue. The only problem I had was standing in line forever due to all the Republican voters in front of me. I'm glad it wasn't a caucus state!

...she did say the elections division was cross-checking all of the voters who cast provisional ballots and seeing how many had been registered as one party or another prior to the March 22 primary.

The provisional ballots will be counted, but there won't be a "re-vote".

The voting location is the same for both parties? 

Where I live we have separate locations for the two parties during primaries.

Yes, it was the same. Everyone had to stand in the same line, no matter what party you were voting for.

I just finished voting with my family for Hillary! I'm actually very excited that my state is important this time around. We're such a powerful state and yet we're so easily overlooked when election time comes around.
