I expect him to win now that Independents & non-Democrats can vote for him now, NY had the highest new voter registration in history this year & there is also an ongoing lawsuit to end voter fraud!!!!! It's so funny seeing people on social media complain that they aren't able to vote because they aren't registered to a party. 

If you live in a closed primary state you need to make sure you're registered and make sure you know the deadline of when to do so.

This is all available at your fingertips. Google search the information. It's not that hard. 

I know so many people who are like "I love Bernie" and I ask, "did you vote?" and they're like "No, it was too late to register" .... then STFU. If you didn't care enough to register on time then you are clearly not involved in the process. Keep in mind we have open primaries in my state so you don't have to be registered to a party. You literally just have to be a registered voter

They are voting with provisional ballots, hoping that the judge will rule that it can be an open primary and then they will count all those ballots.  Like I said, last minute and based on pure delusion.

This wouldn't be an issue if they had just signed up on time. I'm not sympathetic to these people.

That information was extremely difficult to find on the board of elections website. It's also ridiculous to expect people to know who they are going to vote for 6 months in advance. I can understand people's frustrations completely. It is a form of voter suppression in my opinion when other states allow on the site registration the day of the primary.

Agreed.  I registered to vote the second I turned 18.  It's really not that hard.  

And I don't buy the "Oh, well I just decided to vote this year because it's a high-stakes election".  Really, bitch?  EVERY election is high-stakes; these people decide how the whole country will be run.

Each state has its own rules. Citizens of each state should be aware of their own state rules. Being ignorant is no excuse.

Ok, well this still doesn't excuse ignorance. They should've fought this MONTHS ago then. (If they did well good for them). 

In a closed primary state they should've known this is how it works. They should've been registered for the party their views mostly align with. 

I'm personally against closed primaries for this reason. I think all states should have open primaries.
