Number two, it sounds like you truly understand the point of view of an American living in poverty in the United States. You've been a poor American before, I'm assuming? You know what it's like to be surrounded by cultures of drugs, violence, etc. That, as an uneducated human being, you see things on television that compel you, but the government says **** you for not knowing you had to jump through 10 ****ing hoops to have a voice in the country. Still, one wonders what they were waiting for. The candidates' positions have been clear for a while now. Republicans and Democrats hold very different viewpoints, with the candidates in each party having minute differences, so they should be prepared beforehand to know what side to favor even if they don't have a specific candidate in mind. What stops independents from registering to vote for a specific party a long time ago, knowing full well of the rules of the primaries? But I see your point regardless. I can agree they should know they're going to have to choose between a Cruz/Trump and Hillary/Bernie. The sides are so very different. Sadly, most Americans are so last minute with everything.
