Right. If you were to say Germany is islamophobic because of all the hate crimes recently you'll be quoted by 10 separate twinks writing in all capital letters telling you how ignorant and stupid you are for generalizing a country, and then on top of that you'd prob be slapped with a WP.

Meanwhile, threads are created on GGD where members bash the US and call it a breeding ground of ignorance and intolerance based on anecdotal evidence, such as this one.

I am not pressed. I think it' ironic that you call us ignorant about America yet you seem as ignorant towards Europe. If you like to think you are super awesome and we would not survive without you good for you, it's great you love your country but not everyone has to think that way either so of course if you come up with comments such as oh we are the largest developed nation we are so awesome, many people will laugh at you because it does sound very ethnocentric. No one is perfect, no country is but whenever Americans travel abroad they all seem so in love with their country as if they were blind, and that's what most people don't get because the picture we have is very different. If you don't have anything new to add, don't quote me. I just want to clarify what I meant.

I said that because people take one Facebook video and think they can judge all 350 million of us. We are a large, diverse country. Stop generalizing the entire f*cking nation based on 1 (or 6) passengers being removed from a plane when by and large muslims passengers ride US flights without a hitch.

I never said America was perfect, and I never said America was the best, nor did I allude to such. But the fact of the matter is, is that so many of you here disgustingly generalize 350 f*cking million people on a daily basis and call us all hicks and bigots and intolerant towards minorities.

The you all say "'land of the free' my a**" and such, when in reality, YES, we do have the most freedoms by far (as determined by independent UN research branches year after year) just because one small state of North Carolina passes a "religious liberty" law.

Cool whatever, you don't seem to understand my point. Maybe if you think GGD is so anti American you should leave. I don't think people here think that Americans are a bunch of intolerant bigots, especially knowing that a good half, if not more, of the members here are from the US. You talk about generalization.  it's GGD, just check all the news thread there are generalisation about every culture and country! 

Regarding the freedom you have in the US, I can't comment and honestly I don't care I don't live there but I do care when US policies have an impact on other countries and that something you don't seem to get.
