You could have been a lot more fair with that title. You and I both know what he said was unclear and needs clarification. He also said a new days ago that he wouldn't sign a similar bill if it landed on his desk which is HUGE for a republican presidential hopeful to say. Give him credit.

No, read my entire post though. It sounds like he's saying to shop owners to get over it.

Half the titles of news stories out right now are "Kasich tells pro-discrimination advocates to 'get over it'" and hald say "Kasich tells lgbt people to 'get over it'".

It's unclear at this point what he meant, thus your title is really misleading. Idk why you would try to hurt the governor's reputation. If Hillary loses the general, you should want it to be to him. He is probably the best alternative for gays and minorities (other than trump's stance of gay rights which is pretty good and consistent).

Considering he explicitly said "they (gay people) should get over it" then I fail to see how the title is inaccurate. 

And I did give him credit. I know about Kasich far more than you think and I was lowkey rooting for him.

Don't get me wrong. He's still better than the other clowns, but this is not acceptable.

It won't "settle down"

Millions of people won't "settle down" or compromise on any social issue where we can be treated as less purely because we're different.
The LGBT isn't just going to roll over and let this man and his tribe of Old Testament back lashers destroys generations worth of progress, just because they think their God is offended. Yet here I stand. Unsmited.

It's like people want to go back to the days of the 1800s I swear. It's like they think the world would stand by and let them go ahead with it.

And I assure you, if someone tries to fire me, or refuse to serve me because I like a side of d!ck with my morning coffee I'm going to do a lot more than just "pray" for them.

The thing is, I can somewhat understand his reasoning in that even the "haters" are human beings who need to be treated with respect, and many of them have genuine concerns as opposed to blatant bigotry.

My issue with this is that he fails to recognize that is THEY who are not extending the olive branch. Gay people just want to live in harmony.

The fact that you put "gay people" in brackets means it wasn't explicit. At absolutely worst he told both sides to calm down (which actually does need to happen). He did not tell gay people to just accept it and move on and you know it. He said everybody need to clam down and take a deep breath and resolve the issue civilly, which is not ridiculous.

I agree with his mentality, which is leagues ahead of the other clowns, but he shouldn't attempt to imply that there is something such as compromise when it comes to equality.

You give people their rights, and then you work to mend wounds. You don't do that beforehand, because more often than not people don't want change.

Replace "black people" in the civil rights era with "gay people" and you'll see how wrong this is.

That statement can also be interpreted as "gays not liking what some of these companies are doing to us, by refusing us services..."

So it can be interpreted in BOTH ways depending on the person actually... ☝🏾️
