Maybe you just need to broaden your horizons to different kind of music. It's no secret that the majority of hits are manufactured TO BE HITS and just fit the purpose of being "bops" as we like to call it now. Quality is not generally a goal. It's not new, but that doesn't mean all music is dead... maybe you need to stop relying on Top 40 radio to give you your supply of music if you're so unhappy with it.
