How Long Can Gaga Wait?

So lady gaga was a phenomenon in 2009 2010 and 2011 she was everywhere she did so much material she was the it girl everyone was talking about for those years she was having hit after hit after hit grabbing headlines all the time and she was the coolest thing the pop scene had in a long time she carried on with her wacky antics throughout 2012 and by 2013 the general public seemed bored and fed up of gaga it was like the whole world was over gaga she was just doing too much of the same thing which was weirdness people grew tired of her. She has taken a massive break from pop and has quickly became lets face it pretty irrelevant in today's entertainment world in 2016 she is still a massive global name and brand obviously after her phenomenal success during 09 10 and 11 but she is no longer talked about for new things by normal people.

I feel like now the general public would be more than ready for a gaga return to brighten up the pop scene it would be nostalgic for a lot of people loads of teenagers would think oh its lady gaga I remember her she was massive a while ago I'm glad she is back. What I'm saying is that people vividly remember the gaga craze of just over half a decade ago so she can pretty much pick up where she left off because the vast majority of the world obviously knows in detail who she is. But in a couple of years time if she has not had a successful comeback with good music then people will forget about her possibly so how long has gaga got left of being very famous if she is to release no more music? I'm not saying she is not gonna release music because we know she is but at the moment her popularity seems to be RAPIDLY declining.

She needs to release and make promo right after Britney releases. I LOVE BRITNEY and I can',t wait for her album, but if Gaga releases something after her, the GP will be like "hey, this is the girl that sang the Anthem, she can sing while we know that Britney doesn't, she's talented, lets give Gaga a try!"

Or something like that... Proving everyone that she's more talented than some others is such a good way to promote herself imo.

It's sad to see some of her own fans reducing her own art down to "gimmicks". That's what made her so brilliant in the first place. She was like a walking art piece. I honestly don't think that's why ARTPOP underperformed.

she really needs to at least set a date for the lead single to hype her fans and the media..i think that would help...everyone would start talking again about her...but maybe gaga doesn't want katy to know because she may start scheming against her

I'm not reducing her art down to gimmicks I'm just saying that as a normal person who wasn't a fan of gaga during her early years it felt like gaga's success became a bit overwhelming and people needed a break from her by 2013. She had had sooo much success it was just non stop gaga for a few years she was the pop industry and people got a bit bored and lost interest because her branding was becoming more and more confusing she changed from being cool to being messy and different. As a fan when u take the time out to look and listen to her in the ARTPOP era her styling and creative ideas were well thought out and great but they weren't easily relatable to normal people only hardcore fans.

Not at the moment you're right but she can come back again and be cool again with the GP if she plays her cards right she has the potential to once again be adored by the GP but she needs to cater to them which she hasn't done in 6 years

I seriously doubt it. Her stats are beyond underwhelming. Her recurring YouTube views are tragic, another member made a thread about this the other day actually. And she only has 1 song charting within the iTunes Top 1000, and that's Poker Face.

She's still an LGBT only artist, it seems. I mean she got casted for a main role in AHS, a very popular show among all types of people, and yet it seems like only the gays were checking for AHS this season. 

Also she certainly isn't helping her case by releasing songs like Til It Happens To You.

OMG 1 song in itunes top 1000!!! Its so sad to see Lady Gaga fall from the biggest star in the world to irrelevant in todays pop culture circle in just a few years!
