To me, the choruses and verses are balanced really well, they smash together what 80s was all about - high-pitched pop and hair metal But if you think of it the verses are all dark and badass, then the chorus is bright, I just think the chorus never really matched the verses, or the title. I find the song is okay however that song is confusing.

SamJ 8,008
Born This Way (Single) The Fame (Single) the lyrics are great and her vocals and I love the glam as you remix on her remix album but the original I dont like the sound of it too much. Eh Eh Telephone sounds a bit weak now but sounded great back in 2010! But saying that sometimes I still love listening to these songs I love almost all of gaga's songs and their diversities and flaws.
Bitter 3,640
applause by far. It's a great song but the chorus production is so messy.

McMonster08 4,528
You And I. A little overdone. Mary Jane Holland. One of my favorites from A-R-T-P-O-P, but it was kinda messy.

Harry 26,836
I feel like most people are just naming songs they don't like. I mean subjectively how many of these are actually "badly" produced... Anyway I'm surprised that no one has said TIHTY yet.

TIHTY's production makes me feel like they just wanted to make a timeless record and the result is an overdramatic violin-ish mess. Too many people here with moral superiority complex. Dominic 11,922
Mary Jane Holland because the production is so messy and loud you can't really get an understanding of the lyrics. Also Aura, it's not crisp enough. Yes it's complextro but it doesn't mean it has to sound rough. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
ristretto 883
omfg y'all don't know **** about production you're all acting as if instrumentals = production. saying that Hair is poorly produced is blasphemous because every freaking frequence is EQ:d to perfection on that track and the instrumental flows smoothly through out the song. same goes with BTW, Y&I, Bad Kids or whatever cards y'all are trying to pull if we're gonna talk about BAD PRODUCTION and not loud instrumentals, Americano, DITD and Gypsy are very poorly produced tracks. DITD is like my all time fave song but the drums are off and i want to pan the synths because they're in the way of her vocals.

But for me, the problem is that the song takes too damn long to get to the chorus and there are too many pre-choruses. Also the verses, the pre-choruses and the choruses all sound like they are from different song so the production has no consistency. Overall it definitely does not fulfill it's potential. Also to list a few other badly produced songs by Gaga: Bad Kids, Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, Swine etc. One of my fave productions from a Gaga song is definitely MARY JANE HOLLAND tho
