Do You Think Taylor Has Been Bad For Gaga's Creativity?

Taylor may be good for Gaga in other aspects of her life, but since they got together, her work hasn't been the same, her creativity, one could say, has been suffering, there isn't all that dedication to the avant garde, and there's so much downtime and ARTPOP, some may say was rather uninspired. When Gaga was with Luc and after they split, she had such bursts of creativity and some of her biggest pop hits came from that breakup and relationship, but with Taylor, she has yet to have such a burst of creativity. So do you think what they say is true? Great art comes from loneliness and love makes creativity suffer?

I personally think ARTPOP is much more musically creative than The Fame and The Fame Monster. So I'd have to disagree.

Great art does come from loneliness, but I don't thing love makes creativity suffer. If Gaga was still inspired by her loneliness/past heartbreak there's nothing stopping her from writing about it - Gaga being happy with Taylor doesn't just automatically make her forget all her past experiences

I disagree, they have been together since the You and I video, she had lots of creativity during Born This Way, FAME (perfume) era, and during ARTPOP era you cannot deny she had lots of creative moments with both performances and looks, plus she might have written lots of songs inspired by Taylor and we haven't heard those songs, like Temple. I'd rather she being in a relationship with Taylor where she writes songs about being happy than her being with Luc, writing how he looked down on her or how he ****ed up.

BTW songs were already made before she met Taylor tho :/
And she said the perfume was a long planned project due to that she wanted it to be black and producers said no, so maybe it was made before meeting Taylor too.

I agree that ARTPOP had some creative moments. But I also agree with the OP that it feels as lacking in terms of that she did before. Yeah, it's the best for her to be happy with Taylor. It just sucks a little for us, not complaining, just stating it :P

Nope, I don't think so. She's not avant-garde because nobody except her fans liked it anymore. People are always delighted when they see her out looking all pretty.

Do you know what's bad for Gaga's creativity? All of you Little Whiners putting an enormous pressure on her shoulders.
