Yep, he has most of the flaws in his way of thinking about LGBT issues that white Republicans his age do. The difference is that he's willing to step aside and let us live and have rights, unlike people like Cruz who would love to take them away. Yes, he was way off on the "choice" versus orientation concept...but at least he was willing to give people respect for their personal "choices" in their lives. Most Republicans want to come in and force others to agree with their religious convictions or their values. In a world of the Republican crazy clowns, Kasich is a refreshing change of pace.
