I thought it was a great debate. Both made great points. Both showed their flaws.

However I think Hillary will win in New York.

Everything about her is so rehearsed and Inauthentic.

And she needs to stop taking these serious issues in time and milking them for votes.

If you had seen all the assaults she has been under since 1993 when she would speak her mind, you would understand why she is like that...

Because I believe what she thinks in her mind is different that what comes out of her mouth. Which isn't good.

Back in 1992 when she said she wasn't just standing by her husband like Tammy Wynette, but that she was an equal partner with him, etc. It caused a fire storm, and people were almost ready to march in the streets.  Saying she was degrading stay at home moms, and Tammy Wynettte came out & said she was offended & railed against her...  So it's things like that over the decades constantly, is why she became hesitant & calculating...  Just letting you know because context & history is everything.

It's interesting how Hillary comes out against Sanders for not unifying the party when in 2008 against Barack Obama, her supporters were known as PUMAs

The day after the convention, Hillary came out in strong support of Obama and ended up stumping for him at 200 different stops along the way for his general election run. She then served in his cabinet and continues to support him and his policies to this day. Hillary has also raised millions upon millions of dollars for downticket candidates for years and has shown up in support of these candidates for decades. There is no doubt that she is and has been a constant supporter of the Democratic Party and for our Democratic Presidents.

Has Bernie done the same? Will he do the same?

I don't think colleges and healthcare should necessarily be FREE like Bernie says but for sure we need to fix the outrageous costs of these things.

I agree with his 'radical' viewpoint on these issues though because nothing ever gets done about them in the long run.

The Affordable Care Act has been a good option for many and can continue to be expanded.

Also, states are beginning to offer community college for free. That should be extended to all states and something needs to be done about the rising costs of state schools and the loan rates.

"Free" isn't going to happen, but there are some improvements that are happening and can continue to expand.

FATCAT

She's not releasing her transcripts because they will damage her campaign. If it was void, or if it would help her, she'd have released them.

Not everyone has the money or financial abilities to go to college, so I think it should be free. Yeah there's scholarships, but some people don't have the time to apply for scholarships upon scholarships upon scholarships and loans are downright terrifying.

Idk.

The majority of scholarships, that aren't based on financial need, are based on GPA, class rank and ACT or SAT scores.

You make time for what's important. That's something you will have to do in college and in your profession.

Make good grades in high school, take AP classes and dual enrollment classes, go to a community college, stay in state, and live at home. There are ways to cut college costs and keep your overall costs as low as possible.

Why does that matter? Why does allegiance to a political party matter at all? This is why the two-party system is so ****ed up and has the United States in a chokehold – people have more allegiance to being a Democrat or Republican than they do to being American.

Under ACA my family is paying more and my state (Texas) will never make CC's free by their own will lol.

But yes, improvements need to be made.
