Dr. Paul Song (husband of Lisa Ling of CNN) and speaker at a rally for Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders yesterday in New York, referred to Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton as "Corporate Democratic Whores."

Full Excerpt:

"Now Secretary Clinton has said that Medicare for all will never happen. [boos] Well, I agree with Secretary Clinton that Medicare for all will never happen if we have a president who never aspires for something greater than the status quo. [cheers] Medicare for all will never happen if we continue to elect corporate Democratic whores [cheers] who are beholden to big pharma and the private insurance industry instead of us.”

He has received immense criticism for his remarks, and has since apologized via his personal Twitter account.

 Smh

UPDATE:  Senator Sanders has twitted an apology for the language used yesterday by Dr. Paul Song at his New York rally...

And Monsters refer to Katy Perry as a "talentless sl*t who can't sing" daily but that doesn't mean it's something Monsters stand by or stand for as a group :green: nor does it mean it's a message that Gaga would approve of in any way.

Don't let this misguided idiot's words hurt your opinion on Bernie or his followers. This guy insults alone.

Just because he supports Bernie doesn't mean that's what Bernie thinkd. The title is intentionally meant to stir people up against bernie. Anyways it was a very rude comment but it's sort of truthful :flop: but the wh0re comment was way out of line, he didn't have to use a derogatory term to make his point.

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

Well given his choice of words, it's clear he's taking things to the extreme just a smidge. Hardly unexpected from some Bernie supporters, but along with it comes clear ignorance.

Clinton is not against universal healthcare. Why is he including her name in this, especially when the AFA was built upon her ideas? :rip:

Xvil8K0.gif

If she's against a bludgeoning "Medicare-for-all" law out of nowhere it's because it's not pragmatic at all. She wants to expand on the Affordable Care Act through increments to eventually cover the 10% remaining Americans who are not covered by the AFA through their employers or programs.

Who's going to pay for people's coverage? Sanders' single-payer health insurance model is funded by tax increases, and he would do it by "asking" wealthier Americans (including the middle class) to cough up for money in taxes. If that's not politically divisive I don't know what is.

To pay for universal healthcare, Sanders’ proposal would require a 2.2% federal income tax as well as a 6.2% healthcare payroll tax paid by employers. That's a lot of money.

If you think that's nothing, just add to it all the other plans Sanders has in store for people and you'll see that it adds up. This is just more proof of how grandiose and unattainable his plans are and how much it'll **** over the middle class.

Clinton has several proposals that expand on the existing AFA from giving tax credit to the poor and providing incentives (as opposed to forcing) for the wealthy to contribute to subsidizing private insurance companies and enforcing more transparency on medical bills.

Everyone wins for richer or poorer.

Sanders wants to tear it all down and start all over again. :air:

Just another peg on his revolution I guess.

Icing on the cake that is this tragedy:

Dr Song is married to journalist Lisa Ling. And, while Clinton was Sec of State, Bill Clinton was sent to N Korea to secure the release of Laura Ling, Dr Song's sister-in-law from the N Korean government. In return for these actions, Dr Song calls Clinton a *****.

I never thought of that :poot:

Maybe it was his plan all along, and he would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling Clintons. :stalkga:
