I don't think he was necessarily cyber bullied because he won over Gaga, I think he was bullied because he thought he was the first openly gay man Oscar winner. Then kept saying semi-embarrassing things. Poor guy. It's probably for the best since some online trolls can be very cruel and reading that kind of negativity probably isn't great for him. Sort of reminds me of this: basically don't listen to any of the haters. People will always have stuff to say, but just don't give them the platform to say it and walk away.
