I don't think it will reach the heights of The Fame but I think it will do better than ARTPOP, and I hope she will pull off some great promo. I don't care how much it sells but it would be great to see the press on Gaga's side again, unlike during Born This Way/ARTPOP

I think it will scalp little Monsters, but not the GP. We'll probably have one #1 Single. It's going to be Gaga's first album in which she will truly be herself. The songs will be influenced by the 70s and 80s. Very Funk, Rock, Disco and Soul. I'm so hyped, jesus.

I see what you mean... Track 15 was a total rip-off of The truth is in my red lipstick, it felt dated. But Joanne's Choir of the United Bottoms really struck a chord.

Gaga says it'll be worth the wait...I hope so cuz the silence and lack of info has actually increased the hype and expectations beyond practical. I'm expecting Thriller 2.0

This reminds me of Star Wars and how secretive it was and it hyped the move beyond fan expectations

Hmm how are we supposed to have an opinion on songs we haven't heard yet.  

My overall feelings are still weak. Not hyped yet, although I would appreciate if she give us an update with info, even a tiny bit of a glimpse of what's to come. I expect many Monsters to be disappointed by the album. I hope it will be more successful than ARTPOP, but I doubt it will sound anything like what's currently in. I can't see her jumping neither on the trap/alt RnB trend nor on this terrible chill EDM pop. I think LG5 will be a reaffirm to LMs and the GP that Gaga is here to stay even though she won't always slay.

I believe this new one will showcase the real power that Gaga has in her fingertips *intel* lol.

But seriously, I believe she will employ her voice as a main focus in the music this time. I have the feeling that a disco vibe will be present in the new material. 

I don't expect #1 hits, or extreme commercial success. But I think it will do good.

I say let her take her time with this album. I am 100 % confident that she'll come up with an amazing album that we'll all love. However, the wait is indeed excruciatingly long, I wish we had a release date at least or something.

I don't care much about charts, but I think that it's going to be a quite successful album.

I feel like LG5 will do better than ARTPOP (commercially, that is) because of the reputation she's built up over the last two years. It's not like people are frothing at the mouth for new Gaga music like we are but I think it's a safe bet that, once people hear she has an album out, they'll be insanely curious as to what it sounds like...which leads to more exposure and more sales

The music itself? It should be really good considering she's coming from a great place in life. She's combated her biggest demons, conquered them, and helped others do the same. She's done the insecurity thing, the depression/drug abuse thing, the fears thing, now it's time for an album that reflects happiness, growth, and new beginnings!

Honestly, if it does better than AP (sales/singles) I'll be surprised. The music market now isn't what it was then, and her fan base has heavily diminished. Yea she can get a #1 single, but realistically top 10 for everything after the first. 

Just because she was praised for superbowl, golden globes, Oscars, grammmys doesn't mean those mid 40s year old people will go out and buy the newest gaga album, and let's keep it a buck, she's not cool enough right now to interest the new stock of preteens/teens. 

As long as she's not ripped to shreds like she was during AP, and she's happy with the final product, then it's already a success for her. (fingers crossed the sun and Uranus align and it's bigger than Tf/M)

Idk if I agree with that . 1)25,1989,+,Smith's album etc. prove that a successful album can still sell A LOT 2)Her fanbase has only gotten bigger since the AP era I think  It's just the the fanbase is really bored since she isn't releasing anythin

3 exceptions, none have which have ever had the sharp decline like gaga has. Aside from Sam, they are all safe, cool, and easy for the GP. 

And I feel gaga has lost a lot of fans, we were frenzied for AP, and she lost a lot of casuals and maybe even some stans. There might be some new fans, but we lost more than gained.
