Hello, so right after the Applause video primered, a member here said that at the end there was added scenes, and people said that he just wanted people to watch he video to gain views, but I saw the video right when it primered and the scenes were different. Of course, people in Times Square recorded the video and it is exactly the same, but I knew something was up with the video. I immediately thought of the Mandela effect. The most famous effect was the Berenstein/Berenstain Bears. So, basically:

“The Mandela Effect is a theory put forth by writer and “paranormal consultant” Fiona Broome that shared false memories are in fact glimpses into parallel worlds with different timelines."

Here are more stories of people experiencing such events:

@Chic, I remember you making a thread of the Berenstein Bears long ago...

this **** freaks me out stop

It is so interesting though, and people keep on calling me crazy for believing such thing. The Jif peanut butter one got me good, and so did the one with the chicken leg.

Receipts for the added scenes first, then we can talk about this.

I don't understand this sorry :wtf:

So basically, it is when a person recalls something happening, but something else happened in actuality. The reason why people call it the Mandela effect (named by Nelson Mandela) is because many people recalled his death in prison and not in 2013, and it was one of the first occurrences where many people spoke out about what they recalled. However, it deals with things relevant to us and you cannot say things as a Mandela effect occurring in your everyday life. Nobody knows what actually causes it, but many do believe alternate universes have to do with it. It is quite interesting to read.

I did, and it's interesting you make this comparison. It makes sense! But that guy was a troll, so it adds a dynamic. Do people falsely remember when prodded?
