malazam 15,710
She didn't cause it. This is dumb af. Are they srsly blaming her for that? OMG! She might have supported the war in Iraq, horrific, I know but that's not an excuse, the only thing that caused ISIS is: STUPIDITY by stupid people who thinks that killing is answer to something. I don't care about the side it comes, it might come from my country, yours or ISIS, killing is killing, it doesn't matter and it doesn't need justification. another shot before we kiss the other side

So good choice on supporting him (of all people). One day I'll bring you to the Democratic fold. Although I doubt it. We're both stubborn as fk. Edited just now by LebaneseDude. You don't have to bring me to the Democratic side, I'm an independent. I've voted for my fair share of Democrats too. I'm probably going to write in Joe Biden come November. I don't care about the side it comes, it might come from my country, yours or ISIS, killing is killing, it doesn't matter and it doesn't need justification. The problem is that most of the public doesn't understand how the Middle East functions. That's probably why I hold less stern views. They think that the problems could have been avoided, when ISIS was going to rise whether they had a hand in it or not. It's just a matter of now vs later. For me, ISIS already exists in the form of Hezbollah. The ultimate irony being that they are one of the main defenses against ISIS should Syria fall and we get no aid. ISIS was not created by the Iraq was. ISIS was a result of the Obama/Hillary foreign policy while she was Secretary of State, and they did nothing to stop it in its early days. Morphine Prince 109,667
I'm loving the attacks and drama on Twitter. Let me just say I partially agree. Doesn't matter as she will win the nomination and her supporters will circle jerk all the way to the White House.

And come on... even you should recognize that this is too much from Bernie's part, as was Hillary's regarding Sandy Hook. Democrats are supposed to be better than this. Although it's also amusing to see that Bernie is simultaneously pushing Hillary to the left in her policies while pushing the entire party to the right in its extremism and bashing. 'Moves and countermoves' Right, got it. But do you think they could stop them? Even without that foreign policy. There are more terrorist groups, Boko Haram for example, killing without no mercy and burning people in Nigeria, I'm trying to say, they might have improve the raise of that group but it wasn't probably the only cause. 9 minutes ago, LebaneseDude said: They think that the problems could have been avoided, when ISIS was going to rise whether they had a hand in it or not. Right? ---- I've also noticed the persistent implication being that the USA should not have assisted anyone, because the risk of it backfiring is too great. Why else would anyone criticize her for "creating" ISIS? It's a little pessimistic and dramatic. There's a pretty good chance that whoever was going to be supplied with weaponry to fight one problem was going to in turn become a problem. The USA has its fingers in every pot, because it has to do so to maintain its position in the international order. Also, their American dream of democracy has transcended them. The only explanation for why anyone would so severely criticize American involvement is to adopt an isolationist policy and drop the world superpower tag, because no matter what foreign policy is followed something is going to **** up eventually. In Hillary's time frame, that was this particular incident. If the USA didn't do anything, you bet your ass the same detractors now would be saying that the USA should have done something to prevent whatever other bad group that came up from becoming an ISIS. You just can't win in international politics. It's why empires have faded. It's why all empires come crashing down. Something ALWAYS goes wrong, and in this day and age, someone is ALWAYS going to get blamed. Hillary's a good scapegoat. The GOP hates her, and has been smearing her for years. Bernie supporters are following the GOP track record. Perhaps that's why I'm much less of an ass about her record than many people here. I actually understand how the international scene functions, having lived in the Middle East itself for the majority of my life. Edited just now by LebaneseDude. How you said, the US holds that superpower tag and it will be always criticized for doing the right or the wrong followed by the perspective of the people. It could be wrong for you and right for me. And we live in this society that loves to criticize EVERYTHING not in a good way, not actually doing a critic but just hating without fundaments, everything is wrong. You lived there? Amazing to see perspective from someone who was there. In my case, I'm not even from the US but I try to inform myself and debate to improve a little another shot before we kiss the other side

And yeah I'm not an American, which makes my interest in American politics far greater than the average American, because while I live here and my family is in Lebanon, I'm doubly affected by the presidency. Frankly the only reason I'm here and not some political forum is because it's fun here. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
