What mess??  Not here in the States or in Europe, from what I hear.  In the States it was all over the radio.

No. It was definitely the right choice. I feel as thought TFM was one of those Pop Eras where she could've released anything and it would've charted. She should've kept releasing singles after Alejandro. Dance In The Dark, Monster would've torn it up.

monster was a single actually in austria the same time alejandro was a single.

I never said that it didn't stop rising after the video was released.  I said that it was all over the radio during the spring and early summer of 2010.  The song and video had impact so, no, it wasn't a mistake that they released it as a single, IMO.

I said it's execution was not handled well  

had they handled it well, it could've gone to Top 3
