They expected him to have spent some effort and time thinking about some kind of plan and understanding what is involved for an issue that he has mentioned in every single speech he has given. It has been the cornerstone of his campaign and he has put very little effort into how to go about keeping his most vocal promise. He is making promises that he doesn't even begin to know how to keep.

If you go to the actual interview and not the bullshit that the OP just copied and pasted from some news site, the "reporter" asked an out of the blue question about how the fed would break up the banks. WHAT? Dodd frank had had NOTHING  to do with the Federal Reserve. It has to do with the President's authority to break up big banks. That question was simply reiterated to confuse him and Bernie answered honestly because what the **** does the federal reserve have to to do with Dodd frank? Or are they just imbeciles and mean the treasury, which is a completely different entity?

To resolve a problem, you need to do specific things. Big surprise. Its embarassing that Bernie supporters cant actually admit that he at least did a mistake, but they come with embarassing excuses, Gurl, have you gone to the article? Did you watch the video? There are questions and answers. Thats what he was asked, thats how he responded. The quotes are there. No one did invent something or put something more there. Thats it. You just repeat it.

I can totally understand that Bernie hardcore supporters wont be affected by this. But I expected that the delusional approval will at least not come into this topic. At the end of the day, remmember that republican media didnt touch Bernie 1% than they have discussed Hillary. Mistakes like this are unacceptable.

Why accuse them of editing interview transcripts? I agree there is probably some bias in the intention to publish this material but the material itself is not biased when it's based on facts. Bernie can't answer questions that relate to foreign policy and such, and doesn't have an actual plan for many of his promises.

What is this? He isn't answering honestly. He's not answering at all. That's not a defense of his character. You can be the most "honest" man around but are inherently useless in a leadership position if you don't know how to act. I'd respect him as having more guts if he clearly said: I don't have a concrete plan just yet. Instead he just fumbled. That's not guts. That's not honesty. That's just failure. 

It's also hilarious how some people perceive how leaders should act here. If you think all leaders should be up front all the time, then you clearly have never taken a management course. Sometimes you say what people want to hear, to make things go more smoothly. I'm not going to bother discussing this though. Some people don't know the difference between perjury and white lies.

When you want to shade people here, avoid explicitly calling them morons. Just call their opinions moronic. It accomplishes the same thing without insulting the person behind the post (unless they're easily offended).

In any case, I don't think anyone is claiming victory. Most people here already know this. This is just reaffirmation. 

Now I'm not the most knowledgeable person in this field, but considering the Federal Reserve is the board in charge of monitoring and implementing the rules regarding Dodd Frank, I'd hardly call them irrelevant. 

Also you're nitpicking. The OP wasn't just about his plans. It's also about his foreign policy. What about that?
