super ultra 878
I'm not a fan of Nirvana but somehow I'm really interested in Kurt's life. His personality/artistic side was so different and... attractive.

It's a shame that the rock and alternative rock scene isn't what it used to be. Yass generation X kids unite These times were amazing I do have to say. The last era really where rock/metal/alternative still had a chance to be played on mainstream radio and be able to top charts. Kurt was a breath of fresh air even though full of contradictions. He would be openly be pro gay in a scene that was not accepting of the LGBT community. My first ever record I bought for my own money was Bleach by Nirvana Weird to think how much time has passed since then. It was a time without internet or social media and hearing he shot himself on radio was weird and surreal for me as a teen. My fave from the MTV Unplugged session: Still makes me weep to this day

I cannot even decide a favorite album, cos they are all amazing.. Wow, you were able to see them! When was that? I'm sure it must have been an unforgettable experience! It's hard for me to pick out my favorite album, too, cuz they're all amazing! Yeah, I went to see them live at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on October 23, 1993. It was an amazing concert that I will never forget. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

The 90s were the last decade where rock/metal/alternative made a huge impact on mainstream radio. I still remember listening to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, The Offspring, Aerosmith and Guns 'N Roses on the radio. Those were the good old days. One of the things I admired most about Kurt was his acceptance of the LGBT community. He welcomed us with open arms and made us feel a part of the alternative/grunge movement in the 90s. He was my everything back then and still is. The only difference now is that he shares that special spot in my heart with the one and only Lady Gaga. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
