Omar Vela 2,744 Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Actually my complain isn't about LG5 not being released (because making an album isn't that easy, specially when you are truly working on it).. my complain it's about her attitude... she owe us (stans and casual fans) because we buy her music and products , we are the ones who make her relevant... if it wasn't for us she would be another of those talented artists that doesn't get any fame or fortune (and money it's important in art, art it's expensive) because they don't have enough people who support them So I understand that LG5 isn't coming yet but she should paid attention to us as she did before... Keeps us super hyped and gives us lots of information about ARTPOP, ends up disappointing us. So if you were to say that the fans created Gaga's stress, sure. But the talent she's showing right now? The happiness in her work? I don't think we can take credit for any of that, sadly. I am super bummed about the gift thing. I understand she can't thank EVERYONE, but if she gave thanks for THAT gift she'd be thanking the entire website, and therefore all the members that contributed, you know? TheBatman 951 Posted April 7, 2016 Share Posted April 7, 2016 What a journey we have been on as fans, from when she burst on the scene and completely dominated pop music and changed the entire landscape of pop culture! She was subversive, irreverent, raw gritty weird and alien. She brought everything pop was missing! Hard to believe the woman we have today singing jazz covers and doing tributes and singing at events for the ultra rich is the same woman as TF and TFM Gaga. In some ways she is the complete opposite of who she was, there is no longer anything controversial or challenging about her image, let alone original. It makes you wonder, was it all an act to get in the door? I can't wait to hear LG5 and personally I am hoping for something cutting edge, with new sounds and sonic landscapes we have never heard, and lyrical content that is challenging and genuine. I'm glad she's cut the acknowledgement of this childish, immature fan base down to a bare minimum. I hope she keeps it up for the LG5 era, and honestly for the rest of her career. And LOL at people who still continue to think she owes us anything. She's a world-renowned mega star, she doesn't owe us crap.
