kvnrp 48,353
Just make this guy president already and save us all from a lot of trouble. I mean he would make a great president tbh, and he has support from the "young generation", which doesn't happen that often anymore.

Kabexuela 1,184
Serious question, small business owners are freaking out if Sanders becomes president, he will hike taxes that will hurt their businesses. I've heard yes and no. Don't get me wrong lesbo squad, I love me some Bernice..
Morphine Prince 109,649
It's funny because these tax havens have been known yet they did nothing to stop them. Sanders clearly knew this would happen and look at how the media and people react now. I'm honestly not shocked.

I've heard yes and no. “In the midst of the very difficult recession that we’re in, helping small businesses receive affordable credit is imperative.” — Bernie, October 2010 In his Six-Point Plan to rein in Wall Street, Bernie advocated for laws to hold small business loan interest rates to the same rate offered by the Federal Reserve to foreign banks. Once small businesses have access to the same interest rates as foreign banks to finance their own growth, there will be more incentive for investors to invest their money into domestic small businesses, and not as much incentive for them to invest in foreign banks. The result would be to grow the domestic economy instead of diverting investments overseas to countries having little incentive to reinvest that money back in the U.S. Additionally, Bernie helped pass the Small Business Jobs Act, which gave low interest loans to small businesses and supported the small community banks through which the loans were disbursed. The legislation also offered some $12 billion nationwide in small business tax relief during the height of the recent economic crisis in 2010 and an additional $30 billion in capital for small businesses. http://feelthebern.org/bernie-sanders-on-small-business-and-entrepreneurship/

I've heard yes and no. No. Am a small business owner. I'd freak out if he DIDN'T get elected. He is very pro small-business. But more than anything, he's against the incredible deck-stacking that has been occurring for so long. The Panama Papers are just another point of proof that he cares about the right things before the right things are thrust into the spot light. Eighteen 5,430
i'm sure that Obama and Clinton were aware of these tax havens because they were THERE before the trade agreement (it's in the article). Bernie says that it exacerbated the situation, making it easier for rich people to illegally hide money in offshore accounts. But one has to think: at the time, it was a question of creating jobs (as the article claims) during a time when we were losing jobs rapidly (the biggest recession and economic turndown since the great depression), or forego this opportunity for jobs for normal people for the sake of ensuring that the rich don't use loopholes to avoid paying taxes. i mean the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion in terms of going forward with the trade agreement in this particular situation and to point out the fact that Bernie noticed these things is immaterial. one must read carefully and look at the situation objectively to find the truth behind matters. i would say that this is a pro-bernie angle that is looking to create controversy when there isn't any here tbh. Economy 52,842
Something has gotta be done. Yall know im no socialist. I think over-taxing the rich too much has major backfiring implications But with these accounts some wealthy ones are not paying much at all and thats not fair either

If Bernie was elected President and was allowed to do the things he wants to do (which will never, ever happen), the taxes woukd go up greatly for everyone. States would have to cut services and funding to their most needy and compromised residents.

Panama is a tiny country whose GDP is a grain compared to the United States. In what world does a trade agreement with Panama bring any substantial amount of jobs to Americans?
