I'm the complete opposite, I love everything about the song except for the "do you wanna see me naked lover, do you wanna peak underneath the covers" theres nothing really complex or intriguing about it, but the intro is perfect

I think she has been acting more "Donatella" since C2C.

Her instagram photos talking about which brands she is wearing and who did her make-up can make her come across as a vain materialistic Hollywood celeb instead of an artist, but I know that she hasn't become completely basic and she is still an artsy goddess of love. 

Just waiting for the new music because her work is so varied.

Tbh it's true to an extent. ARTPOP was dull and basic. Her appearance and performance at the Oscars 2015 was amazing and TIHTY was good too, but besides that I'd say it's fair criticism. She has ditched her whole avant-garde image for a much more "normal" image. Not just musically, but image-wise as well.

Basic? No. Less relevant? Yes. Ever since Born This Way after like BTW and The Edge of Glory and You & I.. She kind of fell off like every artists does as they go on tour. She could've revamped herself with ARTPOP but things didn't go her way, sadly. Applause had its momentum and even DWUW but the general public wasn't so inviting anymore. I read once online something like "Gaga doesn't stand out as much anymore bc everyone started to be like her after she came out which made her start to disappear and fit in with everyone else" if that makes sense? Made me soooooo sad bc it was true. But Gaga still is in the general publics eye TBH... HUGE props to her performances on TV lately like Oscars, AHS, and the SuperBowl. LG5 will def bring her back into her well deserved spotlight, the musics going to be amazing!!!!!!

Umm...disagree heartily that ARTPOP was basic. Having paint being puked on etc. I think her focus image-wise has been on c2c for so long that people see it as a more general move away from the more inventive, crazy stuff. I believe she wants to surprise us with whatever style she comes up with.

I want Nicola back though. His and Gagas type of genius was a perfect match.

Has Gaga become basic? I think that depends on your definition of basic. I think it's fair to say she is no longer the innovative and interesting pop culture figure that she once was.

She didn't broach new creative ground with the sound or concepts behind her last pop album. Cheek To Cheek is the epitome of disposable redundant Starbucks Jazz. Throw in a schmaltzy commercial for Barnes and Nobel, and messy tributes to David Bowie and Linda Perry, I think basic is an appropriate word to describe this stage in her career.

Brenden Maxwell gowns to the Emmys, Golden Globes, and Oscars? Groundbreaking.

The outfits, the music videos, artRAVE were FAR from being basic.
