So I was just watching some BTS stuff and I don't get this

from 2:54

from 00:59

Why do they sound like chipmunks? :neyde:

Why is the song speeded up?

Are all slow-mo videos made like this?

@FATCAT I have a feeling you have the answers. :neyde:

Yea. When they slow down the footage in post production, the song will be back to its normal state but the musician looks like they're in slow motion.

in the Vevo Certified videos she did, she was about to say and then decided not to  i can imagine it being a combination of CGI and photography

It was all post production effects, I know the person who did it is a graduate of Full Sail University.

Edit: it was Culley Bunker

One of Culley's most notable recent projects was the music video for Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance." Working with director Francis Lawrence, Culley created the illusion of diamonds raining down on the singer in one of the video's most showpiece moments. The video has more than 660 million views on YouTube, and it's just one of the many credits that has allowed Culley to combine his love for technology and filmmaking.

Looks like the actual diamonds are the ones she's wearing on her body.

"bouncing off her skin"

do you think they originally planned to actually have them falling instead of floating? :duck:
