She performed in dozens of places in the Lower East Side of Manhattan between 2005-2007. There's literally thousands of people who have seen her perform before she was famous. Just because they're not on GGD doesn't mean they don't exist.
Rino 5,120
I remember seeing her performing Just Dance on Miss Universe (in 2008, I believe) and I thought the girl was crazy. I didn't like her outfit and the way she was so eccentric on stage. little did I know that this woman was going to become my ultimate queen of music 月にかわって、おしおきよ!🌙
Shaney 5,515
It was impossible for me to know about her before Just Dance because 1) I hadn't the slightest clue about on-line pop culture back then, and 2) I didn't live in NYC so I had no chances of seeing her live at bars and whatnot (not that a sixth grader could even get in )
SISTERV 3,887
I actually came across Starstruck and I Like It Rough before Just Dance got big at the end of 2008 on a website called Project Playlist. I remember burning those two songs on a CD and jamming to it and having no clue that it was the same artist as "that Gagaw girl who sings Just Dance". Then when I bought The Fame I realized I'd been stanning for her B sides without knowing it for months.

Luxe Ford 3,481
I was walking the streets pretending to be a fu**ing Gaga stan even when I wasn't. I pretended so hard that eventually I became a Gaga stan. What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford
OriginalMonster 80
I've been a fan since early 2008, right around the time the "Just Dance" video came out and there were only a few songs available to listen to (I want to say "Just Dance," "Beautiful Dirty Rich," "Paparazzi," and "Disco Heaven," if I remember correctly, and some others that didn't end up on the album, like "Dirty Ice Cream"). I remember anxiously awaiting the release of The Fame: Part One video and the album. I played that video over and over to hear the snippets of the new songs, and when the album came out it was released in Canada first, and I was lucky enough to be taking a trip there and got to buy it before it was out in the US. She was still completely unknown, not on the radio at all, and I found her from a post on another forum I was on and was instantly hooked.
