Exactly what I wanted. That woulda stayed. Every song on there is solid and amazing. She could easily toured with that and had LG5 out by last year. Would been great!

You literally skipped the best songs on the album

I feel like ARTPOP "flopped" more because the theme itself rather than the music itself. People didn't "get it". They didn't understand what she was going for and didn't care enough to sit and think about it for a minute.

The Fame was fun (but intelligently written) music, The Fame Monster and Born This Way had concepts the average person could easily understand, but ARTPOP was different because it required you to sit and think about the lyrics, the music itself, and how she spoke about it.

For example, people thought Applause was a song where she was saying "I want attention, clap for me!" when it was really a song about her depression from the cancellation of the Born This Way Ball and her dire need to be on stage living her passion. To be able to truly understand that, you have to know what Born This Way meant to her, her connection to Monsters, and her life long love of creating and living her art. A common listener just doesn't care enough to sit down and learn the back story/meaning behind every song :toofunny: they just want something that sounds cool :toofunny:

I don't know regular people know the difference between EP and LP but I would totally cut J&D and Swine from it.

I would definitely cut you if you did :neyde:

Spoiler

Kidding :ohno: but leave Swine alone :neyde:

With more 80's metal influence

She needed more popcorn records that were radio friendly.... A lot of art pop songs were complex and lacked the catchy tunes and sounds of her previous work.
