I think singles do better when there is an accompanying video. I mean im just thinking about DW and Team right now. Both songs have done okay, neither are doing awful. DW debuted in the top 10 and Team debuted in top 10 rap songs. But both songs I think would have done better if thier videos came out sooner. The hype over both songs is kind of gone, people are ready for more, atleast with DW (I think Team still feels fresh). But what do yall think? When should the MV come out for the first single? If they dropped simultaneously I think it would maybe hurt the longevity, bc it would slay the first week and then (potentially) gradually get worse. I'm not hungry for anything. Everyone know that music not the bling but anyway, for me it's better this way. Sugar, spice, and everything nice. If DWUW music video would've been released like 5 or 6 days later after the single release it would've been a bigger single. If she didn't do this, BTW would have sold like 800K in its first week but she decided to only have her first week be only 3 days.
