About Gaga writing, producing, directing most of her work!

So I stopped by Rihanna's top five singles according to the video posted by billboard a while ago (Rihanna is an example here) 
All five are not only collaborations with other artists, We found love written and produced by Calvin Harris,, Stay written and produced by Mikky Ekko she made it a big hit,, and so on... She is not credited in the other songs too 
But however Rihanna's huge success is simply undeniable. (14 #1's and she's just 28, wow)
So People couldn't care less about who writes what and who produces what, they just want good music. But Gaga insists on writing, producing her work. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, this actually makes me respect her even more, but yeah I thought it was too much when she started directing ha music videos, and again it's really a good thing. 
But it's like she's over-working herself with all the details, meanwhile Some people are called directors, producers, writers for a reason (that's their job, they should know best) 
some of you might say, if she can do it then why not? Well yes but it wouldn't necessarily be perfect every time, so if a project (a music video for Example) isn't done In the best way possible, then it wouldn't really matter if she directed it or not (remember what happened with TEOG mv, the original concept sounded like the best thing ever, what we got wasn't THAT good tbh)

So is it really a big of a deal -IN YOUR OPINION- if she wasn't involved in every detail of the making of her work!? What do you think.? 

**with the few information we have about LG5, it looks like she's working with some of the best and it really makes me feel more confident about her new record

I'd rather have a song with her own feelings that a song from another writter, that can write a good hit just because they know what to write, or can write soulful. Honesty if I'm a fan of her is because she is true to herself when she sings something. it's her own work of art, poetry, that's what I expect from an artist personally. She wrote +70 songs for ARTPOP, in 3 years, that doesn't make her be slow at releasing something. At least she really works on her art, it's so easy to buy lyrics and then just sing on a mic and record it and put autotune and release it. It can be a hit but it's worthless. She is an artist, not only a singer.

It's Gaga choice. I do believe her perfectionalism is one of main causes of stress, but she works like an indie artist, if you think about it. She does most of the work on everything, and she doesn't really ask for help unless she needs it.

I think she needs to balance herself some more, but, I'll only make a huge deal if her health takes a nosedive.

What you said here is a really, really good point.

What's the point of people being directors and producers if artists are taking over their jobs? They're experts, let them do their magic.

Gaga is very ambitious but she overworks herself. I think she has realized this now though. She's less insecure so she seems more willing to let people help her bring her vision to life instead of just relying on herself all the time.

Yes! That's why I'm excited that she's working with Nile and mark. Both are professionals, both praised her

In the musical aspect I like that she's very involved and in control, same with her image and fashion, but I agree that experts in their fields should do the rest (i.e. direct music videos)

Pretty much my fav thing about Gaga is that she writes her own music and is charge of her creative stuff. I'd prefer as few outside writers as possible tbh.

im fine with her writing and producing most of her music but i think she should leave the video alone. A great video is a major key for commercial success, if she wants to regain her crown with lg5, she needs another Bad Romance video

But the visuals, the fashion, the videos, even the screen projections during a performance, she can have control there, but the poor girl is alone with Bobby. Let's face it, Richie X Brandon are not in the top of their games, at least not during ARTPOP and C2C. Rebuild the Haus.

Rihanna hits are quick payola singles which fade away so qucikly. I can't imagine listening to Work in 20 years on radio, like we listen to Madonna, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Johnny Cash, Whitney Houston etc.. While I can imagine Gagas all three number ones and Bad Romance blasting on radio even in 20 years..

Like I've said many times; Lady Gaga is pursuing a career that'll make her a legend. She's not just in the game to sing hits; she's in the game to create her vision, through music, lyrics, art, and media. 

Id much rather Gaga do not AS well in the present if it means she's creating everything in her vision. That'll give her the long time respect that she deserves and will have earned.

It is a big deal because she came out and said she always writes her own work and works on the productions. IF she never did that in the initial stages of her career etc and just was like a "rihanna" style artist she would not be as big and have credibility. Gaga is talented and ensures she puts it in everything she does. If we have to wait a bit longer for music who cares, she makes the music for us not for the charts.
