A teen girl was pepper-sprayed Tuesday night outside a Donald Trump rally in Janesville, Wisconsin, the latest altercation at a Trump campaign event.

Alex Drake, 15, was protesting in the middle of a crowd of Trump supporters. As protesters surrounding Drake hoisted Black Lives Matter signs, Drake exchanged words with a Trump supporter. According to videos posted and obtained by ABC News, Drake appears to try and shove the supporter. Eyewitness Michelle Velez said that Drake threw the first punch.

You then see Drake immediately sprayed in the face with pepper spray. As she attempts to leave the crowd, a host of racial slurs and the word b---- are shouted at her.

It sucks but if Drake really did punch someone, that's pretty bad to do. Pepper spray may be a bit extreme but can she really be surprised about? I dunno, Trump and his supporters are bad imo, but I would just leave them alone. They don't listen to the protestors, they couldn't care less, so protesting is a waste of time imo. :green:

Oh well. I really don't give a sh*t about some protester, I just didn't want to get dragged. :emma: And why would I feel bad about her being called a bitch? :air: Pepper spray sucks tho.

So dear Trump supporters:

Why do you think this girl deserves to be pepper sprayed but you're nowhere to be found on the thread where Trump would pay legal fees for his violent supporters, saying that they should be imprisoned :wtf: Where's the justice? Is it only supposed to be punished if it's a protester, because you're being hypocritical, or..?

Didn't realize she punched someone.  That is not right.  For any of you saying that it's justified now, you're wrong.  She is a minor and this is a much more serious assault offense than just the usual.  At the end of the day, the adult in this situation should have handled this more maturely and I'm certain that (if this is brought to court) any jury will happily agree.

I know I said that was wrong too and didn't condone that either. Just saying.

I just think both sides should stop showing up to their oppositions rallies if they are intending on being aggressive. Both sides.

"Threw the first punch" is a figure of speech...

Did you guys really not know that? She didn't literally try to punch someone. The video shows her maybe pushing someone but it's not clear. Nowhere does it show a punch being thrown.

But the thing is she's a young 15 year old girl... She doesn't know how to properly handle herself in this situation.  We are discussing this situation from the perspectives of 21+year olds, remember when you were 15?  Kids that age should not be even at a rally, but regardless, whoever maced her is in massive trouble.   Whoever maced her is going to be slammed with an assault on a minor charge.  At the end of the day, grown adults are held to a higher moral standard over a teenager, are we going to start macing younger children when they throw a tantrum and hit their parents?

I thought you're not for Trump anymore.

I don't see in the video if she really punched anyone.

She's 15 and adult racist prick pepper-sprayed her and you think that's ok?

Trump's crowd is always so damn loud and violent.

The problem with this argument would be if the person who used pepper spray knew if she was a minor or not. Unless someone shows you an ID, it's often hard to know the age of teens/young adults.

Also, if she did punch or physically attack someone. The question would be if the self-defense was equal to the threat. (Which appears not to be the case.)
