They need to collaborate Asap they are my two faves ,my queens I love them and I feel like we will hear something from them very soon!!!

plus I was thinking how similar their discographies are! Even though they make diff music the tone and approach to the records they make is much alike

1.Born to Die - The fame

(Gaga brought dance back in a big way and Lana also established her own sound which changed and influenced the alternative genre forever and brought it to the mainstream )

2.Paradise- The fame monster

( both e.p albums have 8 tracks that were rereleased along with there first debut albums and are considered their best work by fans )

3.Ultraviolence-Born this way

(both albums are very dark themes and touch subjects of feminism and identity . Both albums are heavy and thick with substance and passion and aggression and very risky lyrics )

4.Honeymoon -ARTPOP

(With these albums gaga and Lana kind of returned to their signature style but with  a more experimental approach and both reference art like Salvatore, Art Deco, also talk about drugs And love in the songs. And gaga said the song ARTPOP was her swan song and Lana has the same title in her album)

And finally

they are both 30 year old hookers born in nyc and both have rich daddies

:derpga:

Lies. They're so different in every little aspect. No collab is going to happen.

To me, Gaga and Lana are on separate ends of the same spectrum. Lana is less theatrical than Gaga and she kind of represents the stripped down indie/folky scene of NYC. Gaga is more like a disco/heavy metal dive bar queen. They were on different teams. But their stories are similar and they are birds of a feather in the way they were both staples of the NYC music scene in their respective neighborhoods.

However, both are beautifully talented musicians and impressive businesswomen.

I love them both but it'll never happen and it shouldn't, either.

With that in mind, I wouldn't mind a live performance together at some point. That's fine. In a dream world, Lana singing 'Cruel World' with Gaga would be amazing, although I can see Lana pulling off 'ARTPOP' with Gaga too.

I feel like that's why there kind of switched personas in the beginning of their careers cus Lana used to have blonde hair and was making more poppy tunes and gaga was brunette and she said she left the singer songrity type of music to make dance cus no one else's was doing g it in the underground seen then gaga dies her hair adopts a new persona withfamega whereas Lana died her hair brown and went very classic and different route . In the end they both won in my opinion . I'm sure there was some type of rivalry hence why so legit happened but I'm so happy they are friends now they could make incredible music together!

As much as i adore these two women, i don't think that they could fit in a song. Lana is completly different, so is Gaga. But who knows, maybe something will happen in the future, if they decide to experiment, at the end of the day they've became close friends, there isn't any feud anymore, and they're both under the same label. I would like to hear Lana featuring Gaga on this song. 80's Disco Vibes, ah!

Lana has decided to stick with the 'indie' genre. But she has a lot of unreleased songs, where she can clearly sing disco/vibes too. Here are some examples.

Imagine Lana and Gaga singing 'Hit & Run' that would be SO SO SO SO amazing, they would've destroyed so many careers.

Hit and run is iconic !!

and that's what I was saying in the beginning lanna was making more Pop disco tunes and gaga was making more rock and r&b its like they switched or sumthin

i would LOVE if Lana did a dance or Disco influenced album and call it ULTRASONIC or something

Oh trust me I know, I've heard every one of her songs. But this was around 2010 when she was trying hard to get a record deal and an album produced. All of her music since has been more stripped down, classic and less electronic and that's indicative of who she really is. She's more Lee Hazlewood than Diana Ross.

I could see Gaga and Lana doing some beautiful retro rock ballad together. Like a mix between "Pretty When You Cry" from Ultraviolence and "Words" from Red & Blue or "Captivated." I don't think a dance song is even on Lana's agenda or that it would even work with Gaga's dance pop style.

But Gaga has proven that she can sing every genre, and we don't even know the direction of her new album. But i kinda agree, with you at some point. I would be more here for retro rock ballad, than for a dance song. I just wanted to show you a few examples where she has proven that she can sing disco vibe songs too. I would be more here for "Money Power Glory" featuring Gaga's vocals slaying with ' Dope & Diamonds, Dooope and Diamonds. Could you imagine the music video? Just mix Gaga's GUY scenes with Lana's Tropico. If they truly want to collaborate, that could happen, nothing is impossible :)

This song was supposed to be Ultraviolence, but she didn't include it because it leaked online. It's super cute & upbeat. So your point doesn't make sense this time.
