But he backs it up with facts!

The fact is true: Most of the states Hillary has won amongst democrats are RED states....states she cannot carry in a general election.

And it is true, of the swing states Trump and Bernie have fared better.

Of course blue California will go blue.

Of course red Texas will go red.

But will purple Nevada or purple Florida go for Hillary over Trump. The numbers say no. More republicans are showing out to vote in those states.

All the states Hillary is winning right now are almost all the same states Obama won during the 2008 democratic primary, and you see how that eventually turned out...

That's why they gave started to call him "Teflon Don". :toofunny:

Literally everytime they hit him with an accusation, he throws it back on the media, his numbers go up a tad more a few days later, and then people forget about it in the long haul.

It's gonna be brutal for Hillary when the Trump campaign begins their ads on Hillary. She has so many skeletons and because Trump was involved in the Clinton Foundation he has a ton of dirty laundry about her.

Hillary will get hit with:

Accusations of racism in the 90s

Libya

Benghazi lies

Server

Indictment possibility

Phony husband

Accusations of mistreating women in the 90s

The fact she was so late for equality

Nafta

The Crime Bill that put so many African Americans in jail

Her bad reputation in relating to people

Misuse of funds in her foundation

The fact she wants to raise taxes

Whitegate

The fact she was a republican

The fact she was fired from several PACs in her early days

Her making shady comments about dead soldiers

Her muted approach to ISIS

And the list for him will be twice or three times as long!!!   And what is working for him in the Republican primary at the moment, won't exactly work for him in a general election!

Not all, and that can make a big difference.

Also, the districts and delegate amounts have had two cycles to change. So you can't really rely on that. You can only rely on what you see now.

Also, Obama's numbers were way bigger than Hillary's. Voter turnout for democrats has been down compared to that election while voter turnout has been up for the republicans.

It's a completely different cycle. You can't rely on "well she kinda has been winning the same states as Obama did nearly a decade ago".

Wow thanks for the background info. Trump is antifragile, Hillary is fragile. At least with Trump voters know the kind of person they're going to get. Hillary, on the other hand, has a cemetery in her closet.

I don't think you understand: it's actually beneficial that the GOP has been so harsh on Trump. Any dirt they could possibly have dug up on Donald Trump would have been revealed by Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Jeb Bush by now. Their last chance to outdo Trump was the Super Tuesday primaries and the GOP establishment spent over $45 million trying to dig up and reveal Trumps dirty laundry. It didn't stop him. Anything absolutely terrible about Trump has already been revealed about Trump.

Hillary, on the other hand, has played nicely with Bernie. They have but at each other but not ripped each other apart. This actually leaves Hillary vulnerable. Why? Anything Hillary tries to come at with Trump in the debates will look passe and like old news. Anything that Trump will bring up to Hillary, call Hillary, divulge about Hillary will be new news, and will start trending on every social site there is.

It actually puts the focus more on what DJ Trump will say to HR Clinton than vice versa, which will make her look weak to many blue collar workers and independents who are focused solely on ISIS, borders, jobs.

It took 30 years for her disapproval ratings to get so high, and it only took him a year and his are higher than hers!!!  And during the 2008 primary she had more popular votes than Obama by the end, and she also has the most votes of any single candidate right now.  But we shall see.....    Donald Trump has a lot of skeletons in his closet too that the Republicans did not bring out during this primary season because it would not have helped them in this Republican primary. But it will help though in a general election. I mean right now while Hillary give speeches on what she would do right now about terrorism. He is too busy going back-and-forth with Ted Cruz over whose wife is the best looking!  SMDH

Funny how even the liberal girls on The View said Hillary's response to Brussels was weak/muted and that Trump sounded more like a Commander-in-Chief.

By threatening to torture & water board people!?!?!?  And even if he did sound strong or stupid for a hot minute, it didn't last long before he started his childish antics with Ted Cruz again...  SMH  *rolling eyes*

I guess we can just disagree.

But the OP was not really intended to be a discussion about the characters but about the polling data and what it could mean. And now even the left is recognizing that you should stop taking Trump as a joke. That will bite Hillary in the ass. He is a smart and formidable candidate that predictably, will beat Hillary. Bernie could beat Trump. But the fact is, Bernie supporters need to make their message louder.

I just meant this as an observational post.

Lastly, I will leave it at this:

They usually all hate Trump. But even they are starting to understand that he is not resonating because of bigotry or hatred....it has far more to do with an incompetent elite group that middle America feels has snubbed them, and they like that Trump calls them out on that.

But if Sanders is nominated they'll start calling him a socialist and a communist and I feel like a lot of Americans still break out in a cold sweat with the mention of these things, especially the older generation. I honestly don't believe Trump will win, I still expect him to just go on tv and say that this whole thing has been a social experiment...:toofunny:

I actually agree with most of that, except him winning of course and the Bernie part.  How can you say that Hillary would lose because of skeletons in her closet that have yet to come out, but then turn around and say Bernie would win even though he is barely known at all…???!
