Well if you think about it Madonna was really the first big female popstar to ever exist. She was probably treated horribly by men if she didn't put up this whole cold icy tone to everyone. It definitely carried with her for years. But damn I still ****ing love her because B-itch She's Madonna!!!!

In Madonna's defense, the 1980s were a different time and women were told to act a certain way. She wouldn't have been the success she was without being a bit tough and rough, and 90% of the girls that came after her (not just in music, but females in the spotlight) wouldn't have a career without her influence.

same. I have so much black and sarcastic humor. Thank god I also know how to filter myself because I think of so many "jokes" that are just plain offensive . I mean, I have friends that have slapped me because of some things I say. (but we all laugh in the end)

Haha same! I've tried to tone it down and be more sensitive because my humor is too dark. Its bad. You, me and Queen Madonna would be perfect friends!

Exactly. Everyone needs to understand and appreciate Madonna more on this site. She deserves the title of Queen. If most of us were actually alive and could remember her impact in the 80's. We'd probably praise her a lot more. I agree her recent acts have become somewhat desperate which has made the younger generations hate her. She just needs to go back to doing her own thing and stop trying to chase trends.

Well I love Madonna and Gaga but for very different reasons. I just think of Madonna as more like a smart businesswoman and Gaga like an an intuitive artist. Not to say that Madonna lacks artistry or creativity, no way! She has been such a provocateur, especially between Like a Prayer and Ray of Light (1989-1998). And Gaga is also a clever businesswoman, but did it in a different world where social media and the internet have irrevocably changed the paradigm. So they're both legends!

I've been trying to see what's up with Madge because it's always weird to me to watch her interviews where she acts bitchy toward other people. They look fake to me. It's like she's acting, bad acting.

That might be her defense mechanism because I think deep down she's scared to look vulnerable, like she tries to act all bitchy so that people think she's very strong and doesn't care about what they think. And judging by what's been happening to her lately, I think it's very likely she's suffering from some kind of mental issue.
