David Ward 9,219
Let me just clear the air of the whole Lina Morgana subject. Lina and Gaga had recorded about 12 (or 20?) tracks together. Gaga also co-written a couple of tracks for Lina. Including "Wunderland". Lina was going to be signed to a major record label. She was also on Fuse. You can see some videos here. Lina committed suicide on October 4th 2008 by jumping from a Staten Island hotel. About a month later, Lady Gaga hit the stage nationwide and stole her style to propel herself towards fame. When Lina's mother noticed, she was upset because she feels Lady Gaga is holding on to her soul. (Not literally obviously) Lina's Mother says that Lady Gaga was a privileged girl and tries to make her life sound tragic. But Lina's life was a little bit more tragic. It's very sad what happened to Lina. I loved her personality and her music. I'm not trying to say Gaga flat out stole her style, but there's never a doubt in my mind she didn't. Just wanted to clear the air for worried Monsters. But again, still no word on why she killed herself, and we will never know. The only thing I don't get is: Why would someone kill themselves if they were practically signed to a major record label and she and Fusari knew she was going to be big? Some things don't add up. A ton of things could have led her to commit suicide.. Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. If you watch some videos on her, it was her dream to become famous. That's the part that confuses me. but I'm 85% sure it's from depression. That's my opinion. lol Edited April 21, 2012 by David Ward
AyaKara 2,281
Did anyone notice that Rob said 'Musicland is my ****?' Also, I think it's plausible to say that Lina killed herself over depression, regardless of her fame. People with depression can remain in that state regardless of what parts of their life gets better.

From what we've seen&heard, Lina could never sing like Gaga tbh. Edit: Oh wait no Gaga sold her soul to the illuminati and that's why she sings&writes so well, no it couldn't be hard work or talent obviously. Miel 15,009
Whatever happened to Lina will always be a mystery. I honestly don't see too much resemblance between early Gaga looks and Lina's. A little bit, yes, but didn't they work together for a good while? I guess we'll never know. Anybody know which song is possibly gonna get leaked? 3 points in and ready for more

giskardsb 12,565
Lina committed suicide on October 4th 2008 by jumping from a Staten Island hotel. About a month later, Lady Gaga hit the stage nationwide and stole her style to propel herself towards fame. When Lina's mother noticed, she was upset because she feels Lady Gaga is holding on to her soul. (Not literally obviously) The Fame was released in August of 2008, two months before Lina committed suicide. Just Dance was released way earlier, in April of 2008. Stefani was already "Gaga" in 2008, even in 2007 at Lallapalooza she was doing the disco ball bikini thing. In July she was wearing characteristic "The Fame" style for the Ms. Universe pagent. If Gaga "stole" anything from Lina, she did it way before Lina died. Your timeframe doesn't make sense. I'm not trying to say Gaga flat out stole her style, but there's never a doubt in my mind she didn't. so, you ARE saying she stole her style. When Lina suicided, Gaga was already long signed to Interscope and on her way to breaking out. Which may explain Lina's depression, if she saw Gaga on the verge of success while she was still looking for a major deal.
Electric Kiss 1
Or it's yet another trying to cash in on her fame. This...I'm really starting to doubt that we'll actually get anything from him soon tbh. I wonder if he taught Gaga about the meaning of that word, hmm.
