Shadow 6,625
She is still the same woman and the same Gaga, but many seem to not pay attention or have such high expectations no one on Earth could ever meet to miss how much she appreciates her fans. You posted a tweet from 2011 and here's one from this month of 2016. She's the same. Remember, she hurt her hip and has taken more classy approach to when and how she promotes, but this is the same bubbly girl who manages to shine like a spotlight even when it seems she goes through depression. That means she's human, like us and gets hit by life like us, but she still has the heart and drive to be who she is today. The real question is what happened to this fan base? Where are all those bright, creative, endearing people who animated her concerts and reflected her work so beautifully with works of their own? I remember so many fans used to say how much this girl inspired them to do great things of their own and exude a confidence that made the fans stars of their own. Those are the days that I miss. Do your own research.
Naufri 7,424
The meltdowns if one day Gaga turn veggie, "What happened with Gaga? she used to love meat, is she abandoning her not veggie fans?"

WORLDofGAGA 2,274
This is the way I see it, I can see how some people say she doesn't really interact with us no more, however she has replied to some monsters and followed people, but let's not forget she's making this music for us monsters, remember the whole pitchfork quote she said. I think she's not saying much to is to suprise us, she's showing videos of her life so we can at least see something, I like seeing what her daily life is like, this whole buildup and being all hush hush if for us monsters, she'll be back don't worry! Plus from what I see she always stops for her fans still 🐾✌🏼️💅🏻 @W0RLDofGAGA
thomasFr 66
Maybe because she stays at her place all the time so she can't see her fans for now...
MonsterOfSpain 8,318
I have faith she will be as communicated with Monsters as she was before when the era starts and she stops being in her Malibu mansion 24/

You hit the nail on the head here. Years ago when it came time to make fan projects the entries were almost too much to handle and you could, literally, fill volumes with letters, art, photos, etc., having to tell people to limit their submission to just one page....Nowadays? We struggle to get a couple hundred tweet-sized entries and people can't be bothered to handwrite and photograph/scan literally three words. It's like the fanbase is willing to do less for Gaga but continuously asking her to do more.
JazzGa 14,620
@Marjol made a great post about this a few months ago, about Gaga's change from the life-as-performance-art masked The Fame persona to the super genuine and emotional "I would die for my fans" BTW persona to the current down to earth but a bit more detached Grand Dame Gaga. I think that being so emotionally invested in all of these hysterical kids who were sobbing to see her, beating down her door, threatening to kill themelves if they didn't meet her, saying she is responsible for them still being alive, trying so hard to meet every fan and sign something for everyone and experiencing shitty pushy rude fans who try to hog her and throw tantrums, i think all of that drained her. She will probably start up with some more fan interaction when the album cycle begins but she has made the decision to put her own health and happiness first and to no longer work to the point of exhaustion, go go go every day, say "no" to people. It's good for her; even if I miss SuperWomanGaga, i now see how unsustainable that life was My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <

Ur mama monster is very proud of u bbys #pawsup". She doesn't have to talk about her fans all the time to still appreciate them She was like this when she was 26. Now she is 29, so I guess she can't express her feelings and write something sweet to her fans just beacause she is 3 years older

It's like the fanbase is willing to do less for Gaga but continuously asking her to do more. Indeed, it is like we went from artsy hippies and techies to demanding, unsatisfied customers who bark at the waitress and even when she works her ass off, we give little to no tip. How much you want to bet that if Gaga didn't change as her career progressed, we'd be getting threads like, "what is with Gaga being an one trick pony," "why can't she change up her routine," "why is she so dull?" I think art is more appreciated when you attempt to do a work of your own and put it out there for people to either receive or reject. It helps to perfect the art if you listen to the right criticism, but it is also important to stay in tune with that inner muse and not let people drown the enthusiasm to express it. Gaga listens to her inner muse and it has gotten her this far. I think the changes in how she interacts with fans, how she expresses art, and how frequent she performs is her adapting to changes beyond her control. She was even willing to perform with pain at one point (something most artists never do). Yet her body and sanity had their limits. She has, however, managed to work with parameters that allow her to be healthy, happy, and the time she craves to perfect her work. I'm glad she takes care of herself and acts professional in the process. Look how much praise and awards she continues to get even without a new pop record. There is more value in her talent and the healthy mind it comes from than the commodity she could produce for the masses. Do your own research. So true, I've never hated or got a angry at her for the things she's done, whether it be bad or good, everyone makes mistakes and learns from them, as you say I'd rather her change things up and break boundaries than be boring, I will always support her whatever she chooses to do, shame some people can't ✌🏼️⭐️ @W0RLDofGAGA
