Gaga hints about being raped in Marry The Night M/V?

When I first saw the video, like for the very first time, I cried. I think the MTN video effected me more than any music video I've ever seen. Originally I thought she was in from a suicide attempt, but after a few more watches I did think it was representing sexual abuse such as rape, or rape leading to abortion. That's why I wasn't surprised when she finally came out and outrightly said that she had been abused. I think there is hints in her art about it far back, with the most explicit being the lyrics to Monster.

I always believed that gaga had an abortion and the mtn video was her way of telling us she did. I had one at 14 and the clues in the video mirror my own abortion experience. Some people have theorized that's why she became mama monster and is so maternal with us. We represent the child she aborted ( if she had one)

The only things that don't make sense with the abortion theory is:

-Why does everyone start going crazy when she's at the hospital?

-Why does she have that red mark on her back?

A lot of women suffer from incredible debilitating depression after having an abortion so I think those girls had abortions themselves and just couldn't live with the guilt so they wound up in the hospital. Just my perspective. I had an abortion at 14 and let me tell you, the guilt almost drive me to suicide

I remember a user pointed out a long time ago that the diaper and the stuff that's over her boobs is used for women who have had an abortion. My main question is that she looks like she was injured from the rape because she has bruises on her back during the hospital scene but when gaga described her rape in interviews, it actually sounded like a non violent scenario.

I wonder if the bruises were just for the video or if there's some details we're missing? 

I had an abortion at 14 and my experiences mirror those in the mtn video. Worst day of my life. Nobody ever tells you about the incredible amount of guilt you will have afterwards. Almost drove me to suicide

I believe she had an abortion. The "no intimacy" line and "you look just like your mother" alludes to the doctor being a gynecologist or whatever.

Exactly. When I had my abortion, I got the same speech. It was the worst day of my life. I wanted that baby so so so so bad. I loved that baby. It was growing inside of me for Christ sakes. I was 14, had no income, and no ability to get a job as I was too young. I'll tell ya one thing. The guilt has almost driven me to suicide

Oh god marry the night makes me bawl my eyes out. I had an abortion at 14 and it was the most gut renching decision I'd ever made. I wanted that baby so so so so bad. I loved that baby. It was growing inside of me for Christ sakes. I was 14 and had no job. Afterwards it felt like someone had ripped my heart out. A little piece of me permanently. Died that day. The guilt has almost drive. Me to suicide

It's about MK Ultra, it's the same place where Candy Warhol videos happened, or maybe they were after mtn video, but when you look at other patients at that hospital, all of them have something wrong with their head, their heads are wrapped around, all of them are women (pop stars?, factory?)... Also the knife and a gummy bear reference,a freaking piano and a gramophone makes me think about mental institution, though it's easy for her to reimagine such a scary place like a simple asylum... 

And after music industry's MK ULTRA you really have nothing left to loose and your only goal is to be successful...

I love any analysis about Gaga,   My friends who are just normal people who like her music are always excited about Illuminati theories of her. It's a Gaga conversation starter for me to do promo of PI on them

I'm so so so sorry to hear this   You are so strong, that is something that is almost impossible for a 14 year old to deal with, I am so glad you were able to push through the suicidal thoughts that came with that. Sending you all my love, thank you for sharing your story.

Thanks babes. I had a daughter 4 1/2 years ago but she'll always be my 2nd born. I don't mean that in a rude way. I love her more than anything but my aborted child will always be my "first born"

After the video from Marry The Night came out and I was sure she was raped I started to look more closely into her work (I was already looking very closely at it back then but yeah I started digging into it.) And I kept the focus on the work by her that hit closest to home (for obvious reasons).  And what always stood out for me was the connection I felt between Just Dance and Monster.
