I don't know. I will never understand that lifestyle but most people in the world don't get to just quit something they signed up for because they are feeling drained... I would understand if he stopped them for shows in the future but at least ride this one out. Those fans will be so disappointed. If I dropped a couple hundred to see Gaga and she said "sorry babes can't do it" and wouldn't refund my money... I'd be upset

They probably make him realise what an asshole he is.

If the fans can't get refunds, I have no pity for him.

not refunding that money? That is wrong on all levels.

Otherwise I think it's mature and a good choice to be so open about this. If this isn't working for him he shouldn't do it if it's on the fans behalf...

It's a pretty lame excuse but what ever.

Lame excuse :rip:

I'm praying you guys don't fall into the position Justin is in right now.

Btw I think he should refund the M&G fees he charged them.

I cannot stand those meet & greets anyway. It should be a magnificent moment when Fans meet their idols and not a thing u can buy when you have enough money.
Wasn't very amused either about these ARTPOPball tickets... next tour Gaga should invite their fans to come backstage by chosing them from stage only..

Please spare me.

He looks bored and utterly unimpressed in the M&G that were released last week so let's not act like he's mentally ill or something.

Plus he's refusing to give people their money back, $2000 for an M&G + the tickets, which he is REFUSING to refund unless the concert tickets are taken away as well. What a greedy leech :rip:

People defending his behavior are trash, he doesn't care about his fans and that's very transparent.

I agree that he should refund the money but you utterly dismissing Justin as faking his condition is disgusting. You are going to so regret what you said if you find yourself one day in his position.

I dislike Biebs but it's not a lame excuse. Just because most of yall asocial, live in your home and have two friends (mom and dad) and don't know what it feels like. Shut up

hes just tired of pretending to be nice to his fans, hence the "exhaustion"

greedy f*ck why isnt he even refunding the fans wtf :wtf:

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

I know what it feels like to be emotionally and mentally drained after going to a single house party, so I can relate to what he's saying. I don't think it's a weak excuse- some people genuinely become exhausted after social events, and being at one where all eyes in the room are on you and everyone is there to specifically talk to you, where everything you say or do can make or break someone's day? Yeah- that'd suck.

It's unfortunate for the fans who bought meet and greets, and Bieber is sortof a cringeworthy dude in a lot of ways, but when it comes to this...I get it.

EDIT: But homeboy needs to be refunding his fans! :grr:

It's called work, dude. I wish I could just cancel things on the job anytime I didn't enjoy it and still get paid for it.

Well, this actually makes sense. He probably feels a lot of pressure because his fans have this perfect image of him and he definitely isn't perfect so maybe it's hard for him to "act" in front of them every night.

Or he just doesn't wanna meet his fans because all they do is scream and sweat around him tbh.

it's extremely exhausting to listen to people tell you that. He's not a therapist. it's exhausting to hear about how miserable some people are and to hear about their struggles. i don't blame him for this.

It absolutely is. And it puts a lot of pressure on you- you don't want to risk making them feel bad because you don't know what they'll do afterwards. It's a huge weight on your shoulders.

I feel that firsthand when I visit my family from out of state- one member is suicidal, one has stress-induced seizures, and another is schizoaffective. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells every time I speak. Then people tell me that it seems like my family is counting on me to make them happy and give them a break from their problems. And since I live out of state whenever I see them the first night is like ATTENTION CENTRAL and I end up crying the first moment I get a second to myself.

It's exhausting. There's no way I could do that **** for months. Now, I feel like I could handle it better if it were fans because I'm not as involved in their actual lives as I am with my family, but maybe Justin is different. All I know is meeting an expectation like that for people truly is exhausting, so I can't be upset with Justin at all for making this choice.

Gaga has always said that the music is for us, she wouldn't be where she is without us. She gives me the feeling that she is always excited to see fans and connect. She said she gets inspired from fans all the time and fans are the reason she keeps writing more music. Of course meet and greet are physically tiring but I have a feeling that everyone including the artist leaves the meet and greet with a full heart and more positive energy

But Beiber here sounds more like fans are putting a lot of pressure and negative energy on him.

so either the fans are crazy and terrible giving him a hard time to try and be himself

or

the fans are fine but he's just tired of meeting them and doesn't care about them anymore

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone
