I WISH that were the case, but it is not....and none of us really know how affected she is... fans act like its just the typical, but what could be repetitive to you is harming for her Let's put it this way: If Gaga were a tree, she'd become completely uprooted every time there was a slight breeze. Maybe that's what having depression is like and I just don't get it, but that's what it looks like to me from my perspective.

I agree in that I want to see her be happy again too but the truth is she's going to have bad days and be vocal about it. I have depression myself and sometimes I feel like a debbie downer when I constantly bring up my past when people ask me about my life but the past has made me stronger so sometimes I feel as if people should know why I've become strong and I think Gaga feels that way too because not everyone is caught up to date with her interviews and such. Again I hope I'm not coming across as attacking you, I understand what you mean and it came from a good heart, you just want to see Gaga happy Ah, I totally understand. Depression is a daily battle but I hope I can help people who suffer from the same or any other mental illness by becoming a psychologist.
andy232000 11,650
what many might not see as well is that there are just too many triggers. Im sure AHS pulled lots of strings while shooting, specially the way she related the Countess to her real life character. im sure she´s had reminders of her pain all the time. I do and its not fun. REALITY 76,788
You can't blame her being a human being. She's been through a lot, professionally and personally, and I think it's incredibly courageous and inspiring that she's sharing these details with us. She isn't being a downer, she's just telling us what she's been through and how she's coping with it. Not to mention, it's inspiring thousands of people all over the world, I mean, she's a survivor, in all its respects. I honestly think it's rude that you would say that she's being "too much of a downer". She's kept these emotions for so long, especially the unfortunate incident when she was raped, and she hasn't told anyone about it and has tried to keep a smile on her face the entire time. All she wants is to talk to us, and the least we can do is respect her for doing so. 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰

I hope if you become a psychologist, you will then realize that people with depression have struggles for years and years and sometimes for a lifetime. You might have patients that come see you for years or on and off for decades. Then, you might see that there is nothing "wrong" with those individuals. They are not "playing the victim", they are hurting and trying to feel normal...or at least better. Talking about their problems or issues is the best thing they can do. Depression will grow in the dark.
Jesse Pinkman 4,660
I agree that Gaga has a victim complex. I suffer from depression as well, but I've learned that I can't be a victim all of the time. You have to be strong sometimes and toughen up. She is her own worst enemy, and I hope she realizes it like I did. I love her, but I can't stand to see her beating herself up and pulling out the victim card every 3 seconds. It's science, bitch

gagaisitalian 3,573
A part of it feels pretentious to me. The final straw was her crying to Bowie music on Snapchat. She just wants to be seen as this emotionally-distraught celebrity. It kind of bothers me as well.
