There are checks on refugees (they are registered), and most of the terrorists are a product of failed European integration policy, all terrorists attacks so far are done by West-Europeans (mostly Belgians and French), not fake refugees. It's delusional to think there is a way to stop these terrorists on the short term, though. Only short-term answer is better communication between Europwan intelligence... And closing the borders is comparable to the US making guns illegal, it won't help on either the short or long term... So sad though. I knew someone who works in the airport there, hope this attack has torn no families apart. The saddest is when a happy family with young children lose a father for example. If airport security wasn't already tight, it will be more scrutinized. How could it be so easy to smuggle a bomb in the airport terminal?
