when gaga has low sales you all say the charts dont matter then are the first to call others out when something sells low. it doesnt matter anyways every show of her tour so far has sold out.

confused.gif It's not really about Rihanna's sales, it's more about the fact that an album that only has 17,000 sales is able to reach number one on the Billboard 200. 10 years ago that probably wouldn't have even made the top 50. It was the 10th best selling album of the week, but SEA and TEA managed to get it to number one. It just shows we're living in a streaming dominated age. Album sales are declining for the majority of artists and streaming is taking over as the main source of sales.

Gaga is far away from the streaming power she used to have.....

confused.gif Gaga's never been dominant in streaming. Applause and Bad Romance are her only songs on Spotify with 100+ million streams. Compared to other pop girls like Katy, Rihanna and Adele, who all have 5+ songs with 200, even 300 million streams, that's pretty weak. Bad Romance was a streaming hit on YouTube, but that's her only real one.

I think people need to stop living in the past, with the exception of 25, albums aren't going to sell bucket loads to gain high positions. Its just how the world is these days.... move on, enjoy the music! If LG5 debuts at 14 and every single flops, majority of people here will defend it, saying its the greatest album. If you like an album, buy it, play it, enjoy it.... that is all that matters at the end of the day!

And people think I'm eating shît when I said a year ago that sales will no longer matter in a little time.

I don't really get why people drag artists who have power mostly in streaming and chart success from it like they created the formula. I personally think a pure sale is worth more, but like... That's just how it is. You still see the total sales at the end of it all, so who cares?

People these days are more concerned about dragging an artist and their projects than actually spending time enjoying new music and videos, tour etc

We just need Gaga's streaming presence to be stronger than it is. She's falling behind when you compare her to Rih, Katy or Justin

It's because she has no promo or music when there's new Gaga music everyone will start streaming I mean it's boring to stream The same songs for days

Agreed... and here in Australia, I think most people have forgotten the Aria Charts exist, and are more concerned about the iTunes charts!

That's because we didn't have Spotify in 2009-2010, these were the days, Lady Gaga was the biggest streaming act in the world, she killed everyone

That's a comfortable drug enabling level tbh!
