It's a lyrical masterpiece. Sometimes it's not only about the meaning and the sweet words rhyming. So you compare Gagas whole Songwriting to one Mariah Song? They are both great Songwriters and write in different styles etc. Mariah has a whole catalogue with great lyrics and Gaga has too. But they also sometimes have lyrics that are a bit cringeworthy and that's fine. With the 'Butterfly' Song, it's not always about the Lyrics, it's about the emotion in the Song.
