Simon I think you need to re-evaluate your stance regarding your country. You are not obliged to defend any Israeli-affiliated event or entity. You should stop being a child and start looking at it properly. Israel has failed in its original purpose. It's unfortunate that the younger generations are continuing the cycle of hatred rather than diffuse it. 

I can't believe you are lessening these atrocities in some transparent attempt to shake blame off Israel. Honestly, what's the deal?

Israel original purpose is to save Jewish people and they are pretty successful with it.

Sure you're giving a place of refuge to Jewish persons, but you're doing so at the cost of everything else, including Judaism itself.

Do I really have to explain to a Jew how Israel's actions go against the principles of Judaism itself?

One can't use the "righteous" founding of a Jewish state for "The Chosen People" in one sentence, then proceed to defend Israel in a secular manner. That's impossible, given the clear differences in ideology between Zionism and Judaism. Which one founded Israel I wonder?

I'm not going to debate this with you. You either understand or you don't. 

In any case, most already accept the state of Israel. Having it be necessarily a Jewish state is never going to happen, because no civilized person would ever put theology over human rights. Perhaps one day you'll learn that yourself, and stop fighting a senseless war with Palestinians who in turn need to learn to cooperate.

Being Jewish is more than a religion, you know that? We are one people. So you don't need to have theology to have a Jewish State. Is same as Germany is mainly for Germans. France for French etc.
