That's from my experience though. Hmm maybe a program where they give people jobs. Because it is better to teach a man to fish than to give them a fish. Theres no limit to how much you can raide production, consumption and productivity/efficiency. Why recycle wealth when you can simply produce more instead? Education is important so people have the skills to be productive in todays society. Instead of focusing on welfare, assistance programs which just focus on treating the symptoms of poverty, why not go to the root cause and actually eliminate the need for these things? Infrastructure is so important. You cant move goods or get investments if you dont have good roads, reliable power grid etc. Focus more on these investments and less on treating symptoms of poverty with social programs. Dont give a man a fish everyday, teach him to catch it, and give him the fishing equipment so he can do it himself Dont waste so much on useless crap. The $Trillions spent yearly on military globaly. discusts me. Not only is there a loss of life, but its very poor allocation of resources with no lasting economic benefits. Its a financial drain taking away resources that could be used in better investments Industrialization from these investments will create opirtunities and increase economic capacity and economic activity. People can produce more and consume more. Put in place fair minimum wages to ensure the wealthy dont take up all the extra economic wealth. Also keep taxes on lowest incomes low so that the poorest people can still take advantage of some purchasing power. Taxing the rich more than everyone else is fine to an extent but dont exagerate and look to that as the solution to everything as some people do. Over-exagerating taxes on wealthy will discourage entrepreneurship and people from striving ng to take chances at. Id also like to point out Corporations are public companies. Average people own shares in them also even if its just in their retirement fund and they get affected if these companies loose profits. Also an average Corporation has a margin for profit of only 10% to 15% of revenue which means if you raise taxes on them much more, to remain profitable they will raise prices for everyone and no one will benefit from that Cordination among Nations to eliminate tax heavens (Countries where Corporations pay almost no tax like in Switzerland) would help so that wealthy dont run away from paying their fair share but good luck ever getting the wirld to agree on a standard Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
