Sony sets Playstation VR Price/Release Date

At a media event during the Game Developers Conference today, Sony confirmed that PlayStation VR will cost $399 / €399 /£349 / AUD$549 and be available this October.Inside the box, PS VR will include the headset itself, a processor unit, a VR headset connection cable, HDMI and USB cables, headphones, and a power supply. Everyone who purchases PlayStation VR will also be able to download The Playroom in VR for free, which includes six family-friendly mini-games.

With the cinematic mode I hope they let you watch files from the media player would love to watch GaGa live performances on a huge screen

Sony is actually being praised because this is considered a good price for Virtual Reality. Most VR headsets coming out are much more expensive. Also, a lot of games are being developed for the PSVR and is kind of like its own console.

Omg I never really thought VR would be this big so soon (as in I expected it more 2020)

its a lil expensive for a poor heaux like me but I want to get it

Just so everyone knows, the HTC Vive is $800 and the Oculus Rift is $600. Here's a good video to sum up the current VR situation. 

I might get PSVR in a year or so.

I feel like they are forcing this thing so much, but I have zero interest in it. This is coming from a Playstation fan.

I think the PSVR is the best one overall. It may not be of the highest quality, but it quality is still very good for its price. It also looks better and more comfortable than the others.

I'm adamant that people are gonna get sick of wearing a headset to play games pretty quickly. 

Therefore, I'm not considering this unless it drops below £200
