Noah 26,583 Posted March 13, 2016 Share Posted March 13, 2016 In 2002 Mariah Carey released her first Album under the Island Def Jam Group called 'Charmbracelet'. The Album was the first one after the Breakdown during the Glitter Era. It was her worst Album (commercial wise) and her Singles never peaked higher than #80. Even though the Album did really bad. (That's a flop, children). The Album was filled with amazing Music. First, we have 'Through The Rain' which is an updated Version of Hero almost, then we have 'Clown' the Eminem Diss and last but not least, one of my favorites of hers called 'Subtle Invitation'. Vocally, this is her best Post Prime Album. Musically, the Album has amazing Sounds, the Album sounds more put together than 'The Emancipation of Mimi' imo. What do you think? And i simply love her cover "Bringing on the Hearbrak" It's much overlooked. And "Me, I am Mariah" is one of her best of most consistent and barely anyone cares . Honestly though the era was a bit....forgettable because people were still focusing on Glitter and Mariah's mental breakdown in 2000 and 2001.
