Also, making the structure of a song is called songwriting. Producing is different.

Lol ARTPOP's production was very widely praised as one of the highlights of the album. I get your point, and my comment is not entirely related. I really don't get anyone saying that DJWS was the reason ARTPOP got more mixed reviews than her previous albums. From what I understand, it was the concept being too lofty and not presented adequately and then the songs themselves (not the production or mastering or any of those components, but the melodies, lyrics, etc.) being sub-par compared to her previous efforts.

I wouldn't blame Gagz, though. I don't think you can blame a person in this instance as the whole process is collaborative (in Gaga's case. Other popstars, not so much lol).

I don't know what's the problem with DJWS, his work with Gaga has been always great or at least in some songs, he has produced some of her best -or at least loved by the fanbase- songs (Applause, DWUW, Bloody Mary..)
