[where did the clapping emoji go :grr:]

Although I'd love to hear Gaga do a Bond theme as well. Something as epic as this (the GREATEST BOND THEME OF ALL TIME. Fight me)

This week, I found out that Shirley had done a song for Quantum but they chose that awful Another Way to Die song instead :grr: But I would love for her to have one final Bond theme. Plus, out of the three Bond songs the band played at the Oscars, 2 of them were her's :applause:

Not Gaga..... they won't give Bond another oscar.

Its not about the Oscar, its about the 50+ year legacy of James Bond theme songs. :worship2:

Definitely Lana. She already makes beautiful, cinematic baroque pop music.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

Swan Heart

Lana, Gaga and Florenec I would love.

Tho, in my opinion Björk wouldd have made one killer Bond theme back in the day too.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

 So you think Samantha Smith had actually done a good job?

I think he did ok (he even won a Oscar :green:)...

Bond themes, with the exception of Madonna's "Die another day", are usually very "in the box", so British acts are a perfect fit (and I don't say that in a shady way). I can totally see one of the "new faces" of brit music doing it, like a Jess Glynne (she has a gorgeous contralto voice that would fit a bond theme live a glove) or a James Bay...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

OMG, yes! Florence would slay the **** out of every Bond theme ever made!!!
I don't think she's aesthetically conservative enough for the movie producers to actually consider her, but she could really do something amazing...and she's a brit act, which would continue what they did with the last two movies.

Dangerous Woman Ariana Grande is the perfect bond song!!! So Ari or Rihanna something like Russian roulette would be good.

Lana is clearly the most sensible option tbh. I'd love it if they finally asked her for the next movie.

My second choice would be Gaga. I'd love to see her nail a huge, classic sounding Bond song (which I think Sam tried to do but kinda failed imo).

I hadn't thought of Florence doing it until this thread but that would honestly be pretty spectacular, so I wouldn't be too mad if it was her either.

Oh yeah Jess Glynne... But she isn't marketable enough though. #MusicAndTheBling

I think she's starting to be noticed by the media/GP and in a couples of months/years she might really be big enough to do the song...I think she'll get to the bling eventually, that's what I'm trying to say :lolga:

As Slavi pointed out, Florence Welch would be a great choice. She has the voice of a siren, her lyrics are smart, she has that ethereal/fantastic quality that truly sets her apart...I'm sure she could deliver a memorable song. It would only be a matter of making her fit the mold of a Bond theme (or allowing her to make it something more daring than the themes they picked for the last, what, 4 Bond movies?)...
