I used to defend Caitlyn because I did (and still do) believe people were jumping on her far too early on as she was kind of publicly catapulted into the limelight but she's done very little to actually do anything of worth with that limelight. I don't regret defending her from the wiser complaints (No point in even addressing people who bash her on the fact she's trans) but I stopped a while ago

I don't think she's necessarily 'hurt' the movement but she hasn't really done a world of good, either. However her very public coming out did get the conversation going amongst a lot of people who I suppose haven't really given it much thought before, so I suppose that's a good thing. But I'm not a fan of hers at all.

personally, she just doesn't make sense to me... so many contradictions and lack of congruency and inner integrity. i think decades of being a wealthy millionaire have completely ruined her perspective on life. she doesn't realize how entitled she is.

It started out great but it all went south after several uneducated remarks that she made on that Kardashian show, along with her saying she does not support same sex marriage on Ellen and the Ted Cruz endorsement. It made all the good efforts she did in the beginning seem vapid and shallow in hindsight.

She inspired me to come out and I initally thought that she would do a great job, but I quickly lost all faith in Caitlyn with all the cringeworthy stuff that she has said since then. It's disappointing.

I got tired of her a while ago

Every one started looking to her as some kind of role model, but she never had the experience or knowledge to be a good role model.  Her life is way too comfortable for her to be able to relate to common trans women honestly. The only reason people decided we should look up to her is because she was already famous to begin with, and the only reason her transition was even covered by the media was because she was already famous and it was almost considered scandalous.

I mean near the beginning I did have hope but then after that she just kept saying stupid thing after stupid thing so I stopped paying attention altogether
