Maybe she was forced into it by interscope though. Hm.. I don't really agree with that. Alejandro was a single in April 2010, got a couple performances in May and a video in June. That July she started the US Monster Ball Summer Leg of the tour so she had no other way to promo it and by September at the VMA's, the single had already charted and done well enough.
